For most of my adult years, I couldn't get through one day without thinking about my body, stepping on a scale, or regretting my food choices at the end of each day.  It consumed my mind and hindered my self-confidence.  In August of 2013, I made a decision to live a healthier lifestyle but needed help in making changes to my exercise and diet.  I had become so confused between all the fitness magazines I read and advice I'd get from others on what I needed to do to get fit that I decided to put aside all my previous ideas of what it means to be healthy and became coach-able and teachable. I reached out to someone that I knew had what I wanted and I knew if I just did what she told me to do, I could get what she had... and so my fitness journey began!
